What does an assurance provider ask for first?
Usually the trail rather than the total: how a figure was produced, which factor version priced it, what the calculation excluded, and evidence for a sample of underlying entries. Assurance rarely fails on the headline number; it fails on the inability to substantiate it.
How far back does the lineage go?
From a reported figure to the calculation run that produced it, the factor set and revision that priced it, the entries that fed it, and the source each entry arrived from, including the file and the person who uploaded it where it came in as a file.
What is a restatement and when is one needed?
A deliberate, recorded change to a figure in a closed period, needed when an error or a material data correction is found after the period was locked. The point of recording it is that the movement between last year’s pack and this year’s has an explanation attached rather than being discovered.
Is Sustainify AI certified or accredited?
The trust page states plainly what the platform is and is not certified for, and it should be read before any procurement assessment. The platform supports a submission; it does not replace an assessor, an assurance provider or a verification body.
How long does it take to answer an auditor’s question?
The design target is one click from the reported figure to the trace behind it, rather than a reconstruction exercise. The honest measure is whether the answer can be produced without contacting the person who built the model, which is the situation this exists to remove.
