Cookies and analytics

In effect from 8 September 2026

This page explains what this website stores on your device, and what it does not. It is written to be checked rather than skimmed.

Nothing is stored until you agree

When you first arrive, nothing is written to your device and no measurement tool is loaded. You are asked once. If you decline, or simply ignore the question, nothing is fetched and nothing is stored. Declining is one click and sits beside the accept button at the same size, because a refusal that is harder than an agreement is not a real choice.

What runs if you agree

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand which pages are read and where people get stuck. It records how pages are used and stores two identifiers on your device so that a return visit is recognised as the same session rather than a new one. We use this to improve the site. We do not use it to build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share the data for advertising.

Microsoft processes this data on our behalf. Recordings may capture what you click and how you scroll. Text you type into a form is masked by the provider before it leaves your browser.

What runs whether or not you agree

A bot-protection check runs on the contact form and the document download, to keep automated submissions out. It sets no cookies. It is strictly necessary for those two forms to work, so it does not require consent.

If you make a choice about analytics, we store that choice on your device so we do not have to ask again on every page. Storing your decision, including a refusal, is what makes it possible to honour it.

Changing your mind

Select "Cookie preferences" at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing is one click, the same as giving consent, and it also deletes the identifiers the analytics tool has already written. Stopping a script without clearing what it stored would not be a real withdrawal.

How long things last

The analytics identifiers expire within a year, and the session identifier within a day. Your consent choice is kept until you change it or clear your browser storage.

Your rights, and how to ask

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to support@sustainifyai.co.uk and a person will answer. Codedevza AI Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office as a data controller under ZB905842, and you can verify that on the public register. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can complain to the ICO.
